Ironwood Tai Chi

Classes

Robert Ploger began studying Tai Chi in Maryland in 1994 with Dr. Tim Lee. His studies included standing meditation (Zhan Zhuang Qigong) and the Yang and Chen style forms. Robert Ploger has been a music teacher for as many years and began teaching Tai Chi privately in 2000.

"When I began studying Tai Chi, the benefits were quickly obvious. I had found a master art -- one that goes deeply to the core to effect and improve all areas of life. I was noticing a new facility in hobbies as well as at work. Tai Chi at its essence is simple, but not quickly accomplished. And this is one of the things I enjoy about this lifetime art. There is always more to gain in relaxation, alignment, and natural strength, as well as new levels to discover. Improved health and happiness go along with the process of a continuing practice."

Robert has lectured and given classes at the following organizations:

Golden Gate Healing Center
Devon Gables
The Forum
Tucson Jewish Community Center
University of Arizona (Class in Consciousness studies)

And offered classes through the generosity of the following organizations who have offered their space for Tai Chi:

Tucson Yoga
Odaiko Sonora (S.P.A.C.E.)
Covenant House
The Tucson Desert Museum

Robert is also a fine artist and sound healer in Tucson, AZ.
